Half pint water, one quart sour cream, half lb butter, half teaspoon soda, flour to mix a stiff dough, knead it well until it blisters, as you do biscuit; to this quantity of dough lay on 3-4ths lb butter, roll thin, spreading the butter over it, sprinkling with , folding and rolling again.
