Macaroni and Cheese
Mac and Cheese good enough to take to Family Cookout
Ingredients
• ½ Pound uncooked Elbow Macaroni
• 4 Cups Cheddar Cheese Grated ( I like to use Mexican 4 Cheese)
• 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
• 3 eggs Beaten
• 4 tablespoons salted butter cut into pieces
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup sour cream
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon pepper
• ½ teaspoon dry mustard powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350*
Butter a 2-quart baking dish
In a large pot heat salted water until boiling
Cook Macaroni as indicated in the packages directions
Drain Macaroni
In a medium sized mixing bowl mix butter, eggs, milk sour cream, salt, pepper, and mustard
Transfer drained macaroni to a large bowl, stir in 2 cups of Cheddar cheese, ½ cup of Parmesan Cheese, and stir in the mixture from step 6
Pour into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until set
Top with the remaining cheese
Place baking dish under broiler and cook until its Golden brown.
